Hi guys, today I want to talk to you about skincare or, more precisely, about my experience with Bioderma products so far.
In general, as oh-so-often mentioned: taking care of your skin is super important. Maintaining a healthy and glowy skin is a necessary precondition for a flawless makeup application or other than that to feel good when not using any.
I have been using the much hyped Bioderma Sensibio H2O for years. For everybody who hasn’t visited a beauty blog or a youtube beauty channel in the past 5 years: the Bioderma Sensibio H20 is a micellar water that is meant to cleanse, to remove makeup and to soothe and prevent irritation. To me, it is an inevitable step in my skincare routine. And my own fixation on this Bioderma product might be the reason for my curiosity for other Bioderma products.
Cleanse: Bioderma Sensibio H2O
I wash my face with a cleanser to make sure that my makeup is off my face. Then I take the cotton pads and my Bioderma Sensibio H2O and apply it on my face. I love the lightness and the freshness on the skin which is due to the cucumber extract. Also, it helps to remove makeup residue.
Moisturize: Bioderma Sensibio Light
Since my skin is on the dry side and a little sensitive I use the Bioderma Sensibio Light moisturizer whenever I feel that my skin starts to get irritated. It is one of my go-to basic moisturizers as it has a gentle formula (fragrance-free), a lightweight texture and it doesn’t feel sticky on the skin.
Combat Imperfections: Bioderma Sébium AKN
The Bioderma Sébium AKN is definitely a favorite of my skincare products as it helps me to deal with my skin impurities. I only use the Bioderma Sébium AKN at night and on necessary areas. As I do not have oily skin, I always use it in combination with a moisturizer. I would recommend to do so as it might leave one’s skin slightly dry when used alone. In more or less than two weeks after the first use, my skin becomes clear and less irritated and reddened and my overall complexion gets visibly finer.
Do you have any experience with Bioderma products? Can they live up to the standards of the famous Sensibio H2O? Let me know 🙂
